I don’t know what’s more exciting, baby announcements or maternity shoots! If you ask me, the excitement of the NEWS trumps bump photos BUT id do definitly do both ;)
A classic “yikes….im late…” is how Nina & Brandon found out they were expecting! After 3 years of being together, they’re extending their family to three! A baby boy!!!! I asked Nina how she & Brandon felt when they found out and she said:

💡 Helpful tips when preparing for your baby announcement shoot:
Bring ultrasounds! This is a crucial prop for the session!
I always tell my clients to bring any heirlooms, baby shoes or a onesie!
OUTFITS: I personally think long maxi dresses are PERFECT and it allows us to get creative with poses. Short dresses limit the creativity! If you want to wear a short dress, Id bring a second outfit!
Florals are also great addition to elevating a bump photo or a details photo!
If you are doing an announcement with a prop such as a newspaper or even a classic black & white ultrasound, it’s important to not to wear such bright distracting colors to distract from the announcement! NEUTRALS ARE ALWAYS BEST!
